Once you have created your pages, you will need to find a home for them and get them uploaded. Where can you get web space for your pages? Many online services and ISP's offer you free web space with your account. There are also many places where you can get free hosting like Geocities. I have listed some of the major ones.
Each hosting service will have their own instructions for uploading. With some you will need an FTP program like WS_FTP. With others you can use your browser to upload your files. Be sure to read all of the terms and conditions and any instructions and FAQ's. Jean's instructions on using FTP and uploading are excellent. If you are having problems figuring things out be sure to go back and read it over thoroughly. |
